Welcome to the International School of Ticino on behalf of our wonderful team of students, parents and staff, working and growing together to offer a challenging and invigorating IB education in the heart of Ticino. We are the only accredited International Baccalaureate Continuum School in the canton of Ticino offering a coherent education programme from 3-18 that includes the Diploma Programme (DP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Primary Years Programme (PYP). 

At IS Ticino we place the student at the heart of all we do to enable them to become lifelong learners and achieve their very best academically. Academic excellence and ambition sit alongside a commitment to education in the round; as a member of the Inspired Education Group we recognise the importance of the three pillars of education – the performing arts & culture and sport as well as robust academic discipline and expectations. 

Our science laboratories are fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and we also boast carefully designed on-site spaces, including the Diploma Centre, newly opened in April 2024, alongside dedicated spaces for our Reggio-Inspired Early Years Curriculum, three beautiful libraries and studios for visual arts, drama and music, all complemented by a large sports complex just a short walk away. IS Ticino is now home to just under 300 students, with no more than 20 students per class who work alongside a highly qualified team of teachers with international experience and a work ethic and values that place the student at the centre of all they do.
